Sri Lankan cricketer Chamika Karunaratne faced an incident while fielding for Kandy Falcons franchise in Lankan Premier League 2022.
The all rounder ran backwards to safe guard a catch to dismiss Galle Gladiators Batter Nuwanindu Fernando and even though he caught it safely but still the ball bounced on his mouth which led Chamika Karunaratne to move out of the game. Which was confirmed afterwards that he lost four teeth.

It was confirmed by the team management afterwards that he is stable and there were few social media posts with pictures of Chamika Karunaratne this morning.
