A university student died after falling off the Uthuwankanda Mountain in Mawanella.
Police said that a 27-year-old resident of Elpitiya had died.
She had visited Utuwankanda for an exploration with a group of 58 other university students, and the accident took place in the afternoon when she slipped and fell down.
The body is currently placed at the Mawanella Hospital and further investigations are underway. – News 1st
