A former MP was replying to reporters as she left Welikada prison today after receiving a special pardon from the president.
Hundreds of his supporters, including Minister Manusha Nanayakkara and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, greeted the former MP.
Ranjan Ramanayake declared, “I would get involved in politics. I want to run for office again and serve the people.
The former MP continued, “I will also keep up my fight against those who stole from innocent inhabitants of this nation.”
