Sri Lanka Customs detained a Polish national for attempting to carry 5 kg of cocaine.
From Doha, the suspect arrived at Katunayake Airport.
The Suspect has been given to the Police so they can conduct additional research.
“Officers from Sri Lanka Customs’ Narcotics Control Unit have detained a polish national who had 5 kg of cocaine hidden in his luggage. Sri Lanka Customs stated in a statement that the estimated total worth of the cocaine was Rs 245 million.
