The All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association declared that the cost of a loaf of bread has increased as of today.
According to the Association, a 450g loaf of bread now costs Rs. 300.
It stated that the price increase was brought on by the rise in the cost of wheat flour.
The last time the cost of a 450g loaf of bread was raised by Rs. 20, it was in July.
